2008 QRCA Global Outreach Scholarship Recipient Update

Our initial recipient of this year’s Scholarship, Huajing (Jeanne) Huang, from Beijing, China, recently advised that her application for a visa to enter the US had been declined, and it was not now going to be possible for her to attend the QRCA Annual Conference in Fort Lauderdale. It was subsequently decided to award the Scholarship entitlement for 2008 to the runner-up candidate, Luiz Henrique de Oliveira Simoes from Porto Alegre, Brazil.
Luiz is a Senior Marketing Research Analyst at Direkt Marketing Direto. He is particularly interested in ethnographies as he majored in Sociology in Grad School, and he received his Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences in 2006. He is currently completing an MBA.
Luiz is very much looking forward to meeting everyone at the QRCA Annual Conference in Ft Lauderdale in October.
